Dark comedy of academic intrigue in an English department in a Chicago South Side high school. A business-minded principal institutes a harsh program where teachers' jobs are linked to high stakes standardized testing. The spirits of the teachers are broken. Or are they? Acoustic Productions and Wesleyan College are proud to present the concert event of the holiday season.This fifteen-year Macon tradition will be presented at Wesleyan College’s Pierce Chapel this year. Beautiful Celtic, Appalachian, and seasonal favorites played in duet on guitar, mandolin, cittern, and banjo. Brasil Guitar Duo

Brasil Guitar Duo, a 2006 Concert Artists Guild International Competition winner, has been hailed by Classical Guitar magazine for its "maturity of musicianship and technical virtuosity."  Duo members Joao Luiz and Douglas Lora met in Sao Paulo as teenage guitar students and have been performing together for nearly two decades. The duo's programming features a seamless blend of traditional and Brazilian works, resulting in a global touring schedule and a growing catalogue of critically acclaimed recordings.
