Leave a lasting legacy for Wesleyan: Through the decades, Wesleyan has benefitted from estate gifts from alumnae and friends who wanted to make an enduring impact on the College. Some have endowed a professorship and others have established scholarships for students. The College also has received unrestricted planned gifts for the endowment or the Annual Fund. While designations are not important, the bequests are essential to the future of Wesleyan. Become a member of the Society for the 21st Century today!

Why I Give

Alumnae Debbie Moses poses for the camera in hallway of hospital where she works.

DEBORAH MOSES ’89

I attended Wesleyan, thanks in large part, to generous families who endowed scholarships…their generosity changed my life. That generosity inspires me to create a legacy of my own by including Wesleyan in my estate planning.

As long-time residents of Macon, Joe and I have observed changes that have occurred at Wesleyan during the last few decades. We support Wesleyan because we want students enrolled during the 21st century to have the same opportunities Wesleyan provided me 50 years ago.

ABBIE LACIENSKI ’01

As a student, I was not affluent and I still do not possess vast wealth in belongings or money. But I consider myself very fortunate to have experienced Wesleyan, and I’m better for it. That is why I choose to give, and I hope you will consider giving too.

The Support of Wesleyan

“The support and direction I have received at Wesleyan College has led to my academic success, and I have gained a family through every part of my involvement in the Wesleyan community.”
